STRAIGHT HOOK AND BAND EPOXY BLACK GATE HINGES

Straight (Proud-of-Post): These hinges mount the gate or door in front of the post/frame, giving a proud mount. Ideal when you need the face of the door/gate to clear the frame or you want the hinge fully visible outside.

Steel for Durability: Epoxy Black finish protects against rust and weather. Designed for outdoor use: gates, garages, sheds, stable doors etc.;

Sizes and Pin: 8″ to 36″ (200-900mm). Smaller sizes (8-16″) use 12.5mm diameter pins; larger sizes (18-36″) use approx 16mm pins.

Mounting Options: Straight hook and band hinges often include hooks (hinge pins) that can be mounted “top or bottom pin upside down” to prevent gate from being lifted out unintentionally. Useful in gates over 7ft (2130mm) height where extra support is needed.

Pre-drilled Fixing Holes: Band widths and hook plate are designed to carry the load, reduce sagging, maintain alignment and avoid warping.

Straightforward Installation and Maintenance: Includes fixing holes, capable of using carriage bolts or screws depending on substrate. Lift-off feature if arranged can help for ease of painting or repair; periodic lubrication helps smooth pivot.
